The British International School Riyadh is a not-for-profit institution with a proud legacy of excellence, integrity, and service to the international community since 1979. Every Riyal received in school fees is reinvested directly into the school—enhancing the learning experience through outstanding teaching, innovative resources, and world-class facilities.
Our Board of Governors is composed of experienced, dedicated volunteers who bring a wealth of professional expertise and a deep commitment to the school’s mission. Working in close partnership with the Director of Schools and the Executive Leadership Team, the Board ensures that BISR remains a leader in international education, both in Riyadh and across the region.
Governance at BISR is strategic, forward-thinking, and values-driven. The Board is responsible for setting the school’s long-term vision, safeguarding its financial sustainability, and upholding the highest standards of academic and operational performance.
